What Size is a Tesla Number Plate?
Teslas generally use the standard UK plate size of 520mm x 111mm for the front plate in a standard rectangular shape, with the rear plate being either:
- 520mm x 111mm for standard rectangular plates.
- 340mm x 111mm for short plates.
- 284mm x 203mm for a square plate, which are often used for imports or custom plates.
MODEL S & X Number Plate Size
These models often have enough space for standard rectangular plates both front and back. Some Tesla owners opt for shorter plates for aesthetics, especially on the rear.
MODEL 3 Number Plate Size
The rear of the Model 3 accommodates standard plates, but due to its design, many owners opt for short plates to match the minimalist style of the vehicle.
