WHAT TO DO IF YOUR NUMBER PLATE FALLS OFF
If your number plate falls off, the police may advise you to make a temporary number plate using cardboard and a thick permanent marker to write down your registration number. If you are able to recover your plate, then you should reattach it to your car at the earliest possible time.
